We collect very little, we sell none of it, and nothing on these sites follows you around the internet. Here is what that means in practice.

What we collect

Only what you choose to send us.

When you write to us. Most buttons on these sites open a short form. It sends us your name, your email, your telephone and Telegram if you give them, your message, the page you wrote from and the moment you agreed to hear from us. If you write to one of our addresses instead, we keep the email and whatever is in it. If you also tick the second box, asking for news of our other programmes, we record that too, with the moment you ticked it. One email to info@i8gl.com takes you off again.
When you apply to the Intensive for Startups. The application on its page sends us your answers to its questions - about you, the company, its traction and its plans - with the same contact details. Partners read it to decide whether there is a fit.
When you book a call. Some pages link to our Zoom booking page, which takes the booking under Zoom's terms and passes us your name, your email and anything you add.
When you ask for a one-pager. The form on the Intensive and Studio pages sends us your name, your email, your telephone and Telegram if you give them, a line about what you are working on if you write one, which one-pager you want and the moment you agreed to hear from us. A partner reads the request and sends the link from our own email.
When you subscribe to The Dispatch. The Dispatch is one occasional letter shared by Innov8 Global, the Yellow Door and the Society, whichever of our sites you sign up on. We keep your email address, the page and language you signed up on, and the dates you asked, confirmed and, if you do, left. We send it only to addresses confirmed through the link we email; the click is your consent.
When a page loads. Our hosting provider records what every website receives, such as your IP address and browser, in order to deliver the page and keep the site up.

We count visits with our own analytics, on our own server. It sets no cookies, it does not follow you to other sites, and nobody else receives it. There are no advertising pixels. The fonts come from our own servers, so opening a page does not tell Google, or anyone else, that you were here.

Pages still under review sit behind a sign-in for the people reviewing them. Signing in sets one cookie that lasts eight hours. Nobody else is asked to sign in.

Why, and on what basis

When you send a form, we email you straight away to say it arrived, in Russian and English. We use what you send to answer you, to work out whether we can help, and to do the work if we go ahead. That is our legitimate interest in replying to a conversation you started or, once there is one, the contract between us. When you use one of our forms, it is also the consent you tick there; for The Dispatch, it is the confirmation link you click.

We do not sell your data, share it with advertisers, put you on a mailing list you did not ask for, or train anything on it.

Who else touches it

Four services, one job each: Google carries our email, Resend delivers the notices our forms send to us, and the letter confirming your message, Netlify hosts the sites and keeps what the forms send, and Zoom handles a call if you book one. Their servers are in the United States and elsewhere.

How long we keep it

Messages and enquiries: Two years from our last exchange, then deleted.
Your consent to news: Until you withdraw it.
The Dispatch: Until you unsubscribe. An address that is never confirmed is deleted after 30 days; after you leave, we keep only a note that you left.
Applications to the Intensive: Two years from our last exchange, then deleted.
One-pager requests: Two years from our last exchange, then deleted.
A one-pager link: Stops working after 30 days.
If we work together: For the length of the engagement, then as long as tax and contract law require.
Hosting records: As long as the hosting provider keeps them under its own terms.
A reviewer's sign-in: Eight hours.

Your rights

You can ask to see what we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, to take a copy, or to object to our holding it at all. One email to info@i8gl.com is enough. No form, no fee, no reason needed.

If you are unhappy with the answer, you can complain to your data protection authority. We would rather hear it first.

Security, and its limits

The sites are served over HTTPS, and pages under review are closed to search engines and to anyone not signed in. Email itself is not end-to-end encrypted, so please send us nothing you would not put in an ordinary email.

Children

These sites are for founders, investors and companies. We do not knowingly collect anything from anyone under sixteen.

Changes

If this page changes in a way that matters, the date at the top changes with it. If the change affects something you have already sent us, we will write to you.
